January 2009

January pretty much came and went. And it definitely came with TONS of snow! Two Sundays in a row church was canceled because of all the snow. It was crazy! We're definitely glad that this is our last winter of snow!

My favorite boys all bundled up

Dylan and I and a bunch of other friends decided we needed to get out of the house and took a trip to the Natural History Musuem. Dylan loved the animals! He was seriously talking to this monkey for like five minutes. It was so cute!

Dylan got sick with the flu. All he wanted to do was watch his favorite Monster Truck cartoon and cuddle. :)

Dylan getting some rest. He was seriously sound asleep. I had to go up and check on him to make sure he was ok. Thank goodness for video monitors that let us catch these great moments.

He has his favorite blankie clutched.

One of Dylan's favorite things to do is get on the computer with us. He thinks he's such a big boy when he does... And he is! He's 9 months!!!!! Here's some fun facts about Dylan:
  • He weighs in at 17.14 lbs (10th percentile)
  • He is 28 1/2" tall (75th percentile)
  • His head is in the 90th percentile :)
  • He LOVES to dance to music (he even dances when we sing at church)
  • He claps his hands
  • He can climb all the way up the stairs (thank goodness for gates!)
  • He's starting to wave
  • He loves to get into everything!!
  • He's seriously the sweetest little boy ever!

Home For the Holidays!

We had a wonderful time home for the holidays! It was great to be with family again! Here are a LOT of pictures from the last couple of weeks. Our Christmas pictures are on another camera so stay tuned!

The Minute Man Trail and Walden Pond

So I've been really bad about blogging lately so I'm going to try and play catch up here. In the beginning of November we went to the Minute Man Trail in Concord.

WALDEN POND

After we visited Concord we went to Walden Pond. Christian had been bugging me to go here since we moved here and I really had no interest. He finally got me to go and I am so glad that we did. It was absolutely beautiful! We went just as the fall colors were beginning to fade.

Dylan enjoying his time with Thoreau.

The colors were breathtaking.

We walked around the whole pond pushing Dylan in his stroller- and no, the path was not paved! It took us about an hour.

Happy Turkey Day!

For Thanksgiving this year we went up to New York to Christian's Aunt Jan's. We had a great time and AMAZING food! It was so nice to be with family. We are truly blessed and are so lucky to have such great families!

Baby It's Cold Out-Side!

Winter has arrived! :( It is freezing here in Cambridge! Our walks take a lot longer to get ready for these days. Dylan still loves being outside though!

Special Delivery!

I can NOT get enough of this little guy! He is too much fun! Dylan got a package in the mail and ended up playing in this box for TWENTY minutes! He absolutely loved it!

Happy Halloween!

We had a great Halloween! It was so much having Dylan with us and being able to dress up as a family. We started our celebration with a ward Halloween Party on Wednesday night.
Farmer Pickles, A Farmers' Wife, and a Baby Chick

We then took the festivities to the street of Shaler Lane on Halloween night.

Dylan knew exactly what to do! Grab the candy and go... He takes after his mom I guess...
