Admitted But No Peanut Yet . . .

We were admitted last night at about 6pm to the Bain Birthing Center in Mt. Auburn Hospital--the only place in America where a foreign king has been born. (His Majesty King Bhumipol Aduladej of Thailand was born on December 5, 1927 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.)

They started the pre-induction process yesterday evening but got super busy today and so didn't start the actual induction until around 7:30 tonight. Katie just got her epidural at 10:00 and is feeling sweet! So now the clock is ticking and we hope to see Peanut sometime tomorrow.

Still Waiting!!!!

So here we are day FOUR overdue!  We're still waiting for our little guy to arrive!  I went to the Dr. this morning and there was no change so the Dr. scheduled to induce me Thursday morning... And that's ONLY if they have beds available.  If all goes as scheduled I will go to the hospital Wednesday night and they will get me "ready" and then start inducing me the next morning.   We'll let you know what happens...  

Update:

Just wanted to post an update for all of our faithful blog viewers... Still no baby yet! :( We think this baby is going to take his time coming... No signs of him coming anytime soon either! We'll be sure to post as soon as he makes his move.

Murder Mystery Dinner!

Tonight we hosted a Murder Mystery Dinner. It was a blast! The theme was "The Icicle Twist" and we all dressed up as our characters. The setting was a ski cottage and we had chili for dinner and lots of hot chocolate!

Baby Shower!

My friends Heather and Melissa threw me a wonderful Baby Shower a few weeks ago. It was so much fun and it got me so excited for the little guy to get here! I totally forgot to take pictures (im always so bad at remembering!) but here is one that we managed to take at the last minute!
